Vintage Cameras
Many vintage cameras are available on Etsy.com. It is important here to note whether the seller mentions if the camera is working or not. Sometimes it is a gamble, but every camera I have found on this site has been, at the very least, perfect in appearance, although not all of them have been fully functioning.Occasionally, Photojojo.com will sell vintage cameras on their site. Usually they offer vintage polaroids that have been cleaned and fixed. I have found Photojojo to be extremely reliable. Their products have never let me down and are always of the highest quality. They are also a great source for fun, inexpensive photography equipment and supplies.Lastly, I find that there are a great number of vintage cameras available at local thrift stores and flea markets, however, the buyer must be willing to put in the work of hunting and cleaning. There can be many standard and basic cameras available at different stores, but it takes some work to find special and rare vintage cameras. Educate yourself so that you know what you are looking at when confronted by a sea of similar looking cameras! Cameras found at thrift stores and markets, I find, are usually much more dirty than those sold by individuals. The cleaning and basic maintenance of these cameras once purchased is a small price to pay in my opinion, compared to the amount of money saved by buying them this way.
