This class will take participants through the process of taking quality images of their work for submission to shows, galleries, and for publicity, while learning about lighting, camera handling skills, and a brief primer on Photoshop. This is a fun, hands-on workshop that could build your professional image and marketability. Participants should bring some of their work to photograph.Bio: Recently retired as a photographer for Tennessee Tech. University after 26 years, John Lucas specialized in photographing art work. As a craft artist himself, he saw how important it was to get your images out there so the work could be well represented. He also specializes in teaching ways to photograph your work economically by using low tech equipment but still achieving a polished look and professional edge.ane Voorhees, a fulltime studio artist from western North Carolina, has been painting for more than 25 years. She has developed her own successful card company featuring her watercolors and pastels of the mood and light of the North Carolina mountains.
