Yashica Martin joined the Clemson family in July of 2008 as an Athletic Academic Advisor. The Long Island (Roosevelt), NY native works directly with the women's soccer, women's tennis aersitnd rowing teams.Prior to coming to Clemson, Martin spent three years as an academic advisor at Western Carolina University. At Western Carolina, she worked in undergraduate advising and assisted student-athletes with advising and eligibility.Martin also spent two seasons as an assistant women's basketball coach at her alma mater, Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY. The team won the conference championship during her second season with the Bengals.Martin graduated from Buffalo State College with a bachelors degree in Business (2000) and a Masters degree in Student Personnel Administration (2002). She earned four varsity letters in women's basketball and was a three-time team captain for the Bengals. Martin was also an all-conference and First Team All-SUNYAC selection her junior and senior seasons.
